Yeast Bistronomy @ Bangsar

It's the Labour Weekend and naturally, what better way to kick start it than with a foodie adventure. Poor Bravo just had to be befallen with a cold so couldn't join in the fun much to my niece, Big C's dismay.

So, there we were at Yeast Bistronomy for some French bread and pastries. Unsurprisingly, like the other cafes in Bangsar, we had to wait in line for a table. We took this opportunity to feast our eyes on the pastry display and boy did it not help with our rumbling tummies.

The selection at Yeast.
The wait wasn't too long thank goodness. We quickly made our orders and first up - Croissant au Amandes (Almond Croissant) and Pain au Chocolat (Chocolate Danish). So fresh and delectable! My sis, the big choc danish fan approves of this so I'm taking her word for it.

Croissant au Amandes (RM7.5) and Pain au Chocolat (RM5)
Plain and simple, the Oeufs a La Coque - 2 Soft Boiled Eggs with Finger Toast was a hit with my niece, Little E as she munched happily away.

Oeufs a La Coque (RM9)
The Pain Perdu aux Pommes Caramelisees (Brioche French Toast with Caramelised Apples) was nice and fluffy, and Big C's new favourite after the chocolate danish! She is most definitely my niece! The apples were bitter for some reason though so that was a bit of a letdown.

Verdict: Will def be back for more. Their dinner and dessert selection look very inviting indeed.
